Transfer techniques

In lesson we were given a few transfer techniques to experiment with.

Biro And Hairspray Technique
This is the effect once the technique was applied
This is the impression from the other side of the page
This is the sketch before the technique is applied

I also mixed the colours of biro I used and got a more interesting effect
The viewpoint from behind but I feel that a bit of black put here would give a lovely effect

Cello Tape Technique
We began by layering the tape up over the front of the image ensuring that there were no gaps then we turn it over and with a damp sponge rub the paper away leaving just the print behind if you have used an laser printer if it is inkjet then this technique will not work

The Acetate Technique

We printed directly onto a sheet of acetate and these are the photographs I took to show it in multiple contexts with different backgrounds.

I feel that this particular one is quite effective as the tones of the stone compliment it nicely

I feel that this is my least effective as the image is almost lost with all of the colours going on behind it
