Experimenting with transfer techniques

I have been experimenting with various transfer techniques and the results have varied in successfulness.

The colour on this sketch was far too dark so i used white chalk to bring it back out and make it look more effective I feel this was achieved as I feel the end result was effective and I would use this technique again but use less hairspray so that it doesnt bleed as much

I feel that the background i used for this transfer looks effective but however I feel that if I had have used oil pastels instead then this then the result would be more interesting and effective

I feel that after all of the process that the printing block looks more effective than my intended outcome as how the colour has transferred onto it gave it a very eye catching and interesting effect as it was created by pure chance.

I feel that this looks effective but however I feel that the proportions are a little off so if I were to do this again then I would be sure to get them accurate

I feel that the end result is quite good as it doesn't just look like a 2-dimensional flat piece of work and actually looks as if it is layered, I feel I would do this again but i would perhaps try it on a bigger scale to see if i can get any stronger results
