Refinement

This is a post to show how i have refined my work following criticism and comments given by my peers and and how I now feel about them
Although I have no record before my refinement I have vastly improved my annotation as it was only explanatory however now it is far more analytical and critical
I also filled the page on the left with two large studies showing techniques I enjoy using attempting to show skill and control, I feel these are effective as they show skill and control and portray my object in an effective way.
With this page I added more tone to my enlargement study trying to show a wider range of tone, I feel this was successful as it looks far more detailed now.
I started by redoing the figures and covering the old ones with more tessellation from the book before gluing my figures in place
I then added a thin layer of emulsion to my background to dull down the colour and to make it stand out more

I added more tone to the left side of this composition as I felt it looked too empty when situated with all of the contrast on the right hand side

I added more tone to this as I felt that the tone I had previously put in the composition wasn't varied enough so i added more tone which I believe makes then stand out a bit more

I felt that this didnt stand out very well so I went over the back with a little bit of black and used the technique on it and I feel that the result was an improvement as it caught your eye more as it had a bit more definition in itself.
