Dry on wet media experimenting

 With these sketches we put emulsion down to create a texture whether that was using a brush or our fingers etc.. We then went over the emulsion whilst still wet with charcoal or graphite to create some observational sketches from one of our objects.

 Similarly to laying down thick texture building layers of emulsion we could also lay down a thin layer which revealed the brush strokes when sketched over using our media.

I feel that the sketch that I had created by using the thin layer of emulsion was my most successful as it gave my object a stronger interpretation of my object that i was working from.
